Open Calls

At a time when climate change, food insecurity and social inequality increasingly converge, Art Feeds invites artists from the EU and Creative Europe countries to rethink nourishment as ecology, care, ritual and solidarity. Through collaborative creation and site-specific interventions, the programme aims to generate new narratives and imaginative responses to the climate and ecological crisis, fostering connections between communities, cultures, policies and environments. Applications are open until 31 December 2025 at 22:30 CET, with dedicated forms available for each residency slot.

Edible Commons: Performing the Future of Food

BJCEM, together with the partners in the Feed Your Future project, launches the Art Feeds Collective Residencies 2026, a transnational programme exploring the intersections of food, ecology, community, and artistic practice under the theme “Edible Commons: Performing the Future of Food.” Five 15-day collective residencies will take place in Milan, Almere, Brașov, Thessaloniki (14–28 May 2026), and Paphos (14–28 February 2026), where selected artists will work with local curators and communities to investigate sustainable food systems, climate action, and shared forms of nourishment. Outcomes will be shared through public events and a final masterclass during the concluding event of Feed Your Future in Milan at the end of 2026.
